Hi, I’m Amy.
I’m a prop stylist, art director, and creative, with 25 years of experience. I specialize in styling for food and beauty brands, with emphasis on tabletop, product and swatch styling. My career has run the spectrum from editorial and cookbooks, to web content and international campaigns, and you’ve probably seen my work in magazines, books, store signage, websites, billboards and beyond.
I’m known for great organization and communication, adaptability, an artist’s eye for color and form, and a stylishly approachable elegance to my work. I believe great style is for everyone, and that the power of collaborating with an amazing team makes the best work happen. I love tapping in to my client’s vision, and finding ways to elevate their story.
In 2014, my business partner and I opened The Surface Library, Los Angeles' first tabletop prop house. Our space is filled with an ever evolving collection of surfaces, dishes, glassware, linens and ephemera. I’m always sourcing and making new items for the collection, looking to find the perfect mix of custom, vintage and modern pieces.
When I’m not on set, you’ll find me at the prop house with our team, traveling, reading, writing, cooking, taking pictures, and generally following my own curiosity for inspiration.
I live in Los Angeles with my husband, Mish, a blind Pomeranian named Nova, and a formerly feral cat named Smokey in a 100 year old co-op we like to call ‘grey gardens west’.
